Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
I think someone needs to head back under the bridge!
No possibility of a rational conversation with it.

Yet as you claimed previously you had a PS4 and a mega PC so had no need for an Xbox One, however then went and bought one anyway and start a thread to try and totally slag the console off when you actually knew all that information before you spent your money. So really shouldn't be coming here and ranting about the consoles problems as you knew about them before purchasing.
As I put it earlier like buying a car with a flat tyre and then whinging about the flat tyre. Its just silly and pointless.
Sell the console and move on.

I don't actually care - unlike you I like my Xbox One. I also understand the perils of being an early adopter. Plus I was fully aware of the various issues with the Xbox One (seemingly unlike you, unless you did know of all the issues but bought one anyway even though it would have been blatantly obvious that you would immediately dislike it? Either way, it's a very stupid decision you made...)...
But, seeing as you think it is "crap" and "not worth it", why did you buy yours?
Was it claim number one, for the exclusive games? Even though the games you have are all available on PS4 (which you have) and/or PC (which you have)...
Was it claim number two, for Halo and Titanfall? Even though Halo has not even been dated let alone released, even though Titanfall is also available on PC, and even though you previously said that Titanfall is "crap"...
Was it claim number three (the current one), where you now say that it was simply an "impulse buy" and that the reason you bought it is... "Because".
Which of these contradictory claims is true?
Why did you buy it, given that you must have known beforehand what it was like? You must have known about "Resolutiongate" and the UI and Kinect and so on and so on...
Why do you still have it, now that you have experienced first-hand what it is like and can get (or already have!) the same games on PS4 and PC, where you know they will perform better?

Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
Seriously- this thing is **** pants poor. It seems watchdogs is going to be seriously better on PS4 than it is on xboxone.
Better graphics, better physics, more content. That's it my kids getting the short straw, the xboxone is going in their bedroom like it or lump it. Yes I'm a bad dad.
Oh an matt, it was an impulse buy, although I have told you this several times but you're seem incapable of understanding this.

I would understand it if that had been your story from the beginning of this thread, but it has not been... I have posted your inconsistent claims multiple times now, and you still ignore and evade the questions...
As I said earlier tonight, you really should have got your story straight before you started this thread.

I don't think it was a waste at launch, I got a day one edition with FIFA, I also bought CoD and Forza at launch too, because those games interest me, though I have now bought Battlefield 4 and deleted CoD.

Wow lol, you're stark raving mad...
I was always going to get a xboxone for certain games I want to play. I was NEVER paying £429 for the thing though, thats a pee take. I saw it on offer when I was looking for something else, I BOUGHT IT...Ya see, do you understand the freedom and choice with have in the UK?
An once we have used our freedom and choice to buy something, an we then find it to be a bit rubbish. We're free to go to the internet and tell people its rubbish. I think the fact you paid the stupid price of £429 for your xboxone makes you feel the need to justify it. No one cares, you got riped off you paid to much.
You can go out now and buy the titanfall bunble with Forza 5 for £349. My local game store has 18!! preowned xboxones. The trade in price is now £200 from £330 then £280 then £250 then £230 an now £200.
Thats because so many people bought one, found it to be not very good and traded it in for a PS4. I already have both and my xboxone was part of an amazing weekend only bundle. So I paid nowhere near as much as you. It must hurt being ripped off soo badly.

Good for you. You can put the money towards your next super dooper, very expensive, ultra powerful PC that will sit in corner while you play a sega master system and moan about how it won't play games as well as other systems.

Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
Day one adopters know full well that the prices will drop quite quickly, but that is irrelevant, that is the price you pay and everyone knows it.
It does makes me wonder how many will not make the same - could I say 'mistake' again? As I am glad I didn't press the buy button though was tempted to get one myself.
Some people do buy tech regardlessly and if I had the money I probably would do the same. No different to say I have 8 watches, they all tell the time and I will probably buy another at some point and yes I did make a mistake with one. But that's how it goes.
If I had a really powerful PC, it wouldn't matter as I'd still get a console to allow me to play with mates and I like to just switch on and play with no hassles.
I can say the same about people who go after the latest mobile phone and queue up for it, I call them crazy but it is each to their own.

I my pc will not sit in the corner lol. It will be used by my daughters and wife for college/UNI/work related uses and will last several years, I know many will spend thousands upgrading over 4 or 5 years I simply upgraded the whole thing my choice.

That's the thing. You talk about the freedom and choice we have in the UK to buy and express our opinions about products, but then go on to apparently ignore the freedom people have to disagree with you.
These are the facts as I see them. - You bought an xboxone and feel ripped off.
- You decided to complain online.
- Other people have bought and are enjoying their xboxones.
Now, I can understand that you feel ripped off, and I can understand why you feel the need to complain. What I don't understand is your apparent need to disagree with (and try and "prove" wrong) people. You seem to feel the need for other people to come online and say "Yes, the Xboxone is crap" then get snidey when people come online and say that they do like it.
Take, for example, your response to me. I did not say whether I liked or disliked the xboxone. I merely said that in my opinion, it is better to wait and see whether I like the games that are released for a console. I also pointed out that it takes developers a while to get the best out of a console. This isn't an opinion, this is a fact. You answered "cool story"..

1, I can't see where he says he's been ripped off, but in all cases he states he got a bargain.
2, Nothing wrong in voicing an opinion online or anywhere.
3, I don't doubt many are enjoying their XB1s, at the same time I don't doubt many aren't.
After all the barrages that seems to be allowed this time around (funny that, I've had posts that have been deleted and gotten a warning for far far less), I'm sure I'd get bored of saying the same things over and over again, to the point I'd not bother either in replying.

I'm "stark raving mad"? Really?
You said that you only buy consoles for the exclusive games not available for your £3300 PC, yet also listed a variety of games you have for the Xbox One that are also available for PS4 and PC, including some you have even "double-dipped" on and got for both consoles.
You then said that you bought the Xbox One for Halo and Titanfall, even though Halo is not out and has no release date, and even though you said that Titanfall was crap back before you got your Xbox One.
Then you said that you actually bought it as an "impulse buy" and "because"...
You are the one posting stuff that's contradictory and illogical, all I have been doing is asking you to actually explain what you have said and asking which of your various claims is actually true. If you hadn't posted such things I would not be asking you about them.
I do not get how you equate me simply asking you to explain yourself in a logical and non-contradictory manner to somehow actually mean that *I* am trying to justify my own purchase? I have quite clearly not been using this thread to justify my purchase, I have just been asking you simple questions that you keep ignoring or evading or getting defensive over or changing your answer to.
Yes, we have freedom and choice and yes we can have opinions. As I said multiple times I am not challenging your opinion - I am simply asking you to explain the choice you made without contradicting yourself, without instead just accusing myself or others of being mad or spitting out dummies, without instead just saying "Matt, get laid", without instead just saying "cool story bro", etc. ...
All I want is a logical, intelligent, reasoned debate... but that appears to be impossible given the way you "answer".
