If you have the Sky Sports subscription, then yes. If you pay for the HD, you will also get Sky Sports 5 HD

There are offices in Cardiff and Newport, but the big call centre is in Swansea

I can see this part of the forum becoming really quite quiet, due to the fact that Virgin have done really well recently in regards to obtaining all the Sky sports channels in HD, all that's left for them now is to try and secure Atlantic, but imho that ain't going to happen anytime soon!

Yeah, there is very little now. A few HD variants and SA and Encore are all we are seriously missing now. If we get an Amazon Prime app as well, and if the next major TIVO update brings the faster menus, I can not see what VM can do to improve the TV side of things. They have done a very good job in recent years in my eyes.

I agree mate
Part of me is being HD greedy, where I would like a HD variant of every channel that we have. Sky even has the HD version of the Food Network
I know not everyone feels the same, so its not really a big issue, as we do have the HD variant for nearly all of the major channels
Faster menus would be great, sometimes it can be a bit sluggish, but not enough to put me off.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2014) Vol. 3
i still want fox news...big company, make comedy newsreports screaming of republican biased agendas...we get all the indian news channels why cant we get fox? or some equally amusing german or italian news channels. id like to sit in my bedroom rocking back and forth as a pretty german lady tells me something i cant understand.
yes im being picky. but my point is there are still a few gems sky customers have which we dont but vm seem to not be interested in pursuing. i wonder who or what influences these decisions?
but yes compared to 2012 the tv is massively improved

haha that's class, Vince
These channels, like with my HD Greediness, VM may think in a financial sense they are not worth going after.
I'm just guessing because, of course, I know nothing of TV channels and costs lol
Like you say, we are being picky...but we are allowed arent we? We are British after all.

Yup. Remember not that long ago when our HD menu consisted of BBC HD and.... BBC HD.
VM have come a LONG way since then.
All we need is a quicker, dynamic EPG and forthem to sort out the ongoing BBCi issue and I'm a happy chappy...

1.5 million Indians live in the UK, so it's a big market for VM. Far fewer Germans and Italians.
As for Fox News, there are a lot of foxes, but they don't tend to subscribe to cable. They probably use dustbin lids instead.
