i just did this to sky, i thought it would be fun just to atleast try, they knocked £17 off for 5 months, not bad!

about 30-40 mins ago, i got the number for retentions by a helpful chap from another forum, i rang first and got put through to program advisors, that was rollocks, so hence i got this number, said i thought about leaving as i could not afford paying this much so he offered me two deals, i accepted the more lucrative short term offer, he noted id been with sky for a number of years, i also said i have sky digital and sky+ which i do, i said i was happy with the service, just the financial side could potentially force my hand.
its a half truth, i wanted to get rid of sky+ a few months ago, but everyone in the family agreed not to, so i went along with it.
