Re: 3D using TiVo

So HD Boy, how much 3D content have you watched on either VM, Sky or a 3D compatible device (Bluray/PS3 etc) on a TV at home?

I have watched a documentary in 3D.

I do not like watching 3D with glasses on. You will never make me like watching 3D with glasses on.

Also there is not much 3D content.

Is this 20 questions ? I do not have a 3D TV so where do you think i watched it.

People need to accept that i have watched a documentary in 3D and i did not like having to wear those stupid 3D glasses to watch a documentary and 3D is over hyped IMO.

So one programme? And your based your whole anti-3D rant based on that

Am not trying to make you watch anything, it's your choice... but why come into a 3D TiVo thread and make ridiculous comments (much like you do on other threads/forums)

Why come on and make a post like that? Did you watch Ocean Wonderland in Comet and Currys then?

What you are doing is just trolling these forums (and others) trying to provoke a reaction with your comments.

Also, there is plenty of 3D content about

Perfectly calm here thanks Hugh

HD Boy -

If you want to contribute and discuss the 3D content on TiVo/VM then yeah do please post away, I am interested in your views.
I've not told you to ignore this thread, but just stating that "watching 3D with glasses is rubbish" isn't really discussing it. Why do you feel it is rubbish? Is it you don't feel comfortable with glasses on, or having to wear them over glasses?

You stated -

3D will only fully take off when you can watch 3D without glasses.
Any basis for that view?

Re: 3D using TiVo

I can understand what HD Boy means about the glasses they do take time to adjust too , I guess some people feel silly it's similar to prancing around the room playing a Wii game or Kinect. I've watched a fair bit of 3D content now and some is mind blowingly good. I watched The lion king 3D with the little one on Sky 3D , Disney have done a remarkable job , I also watched a trailer for The Bachelor King which looked superb as well.
