did you fit the fibre washers between the mounting nuts & the mobo, before fitting the screws - and I agreed about not fitting too many mounting nuts to the case , as well, Saxodriver & Rough.D

hey i have tested the cpu on my friends mobo and it work's fine didn't seem to be a problem went to post and loaded windows fine.. but i'll try and take some of they mountin pins out but i only put them where there was a hole on the mobo for fitting the screws tho but i'll take a couple out and see how it goes also i got these little red rings look like they paper like i have been putting them under the mobo! should they be above??

do you dare try to boot it out of the pc? place mobo on something safe ie mobo box,have ram cpu +fan plus gfx installed then just jump the power on pins with a screwdriver,if it posts this way it would be a grounding on the case.Have you tryed a different psu? there does appear to be the chance your mobo is fubared,lets hope not

What little red rings, I have a concern they was just packaging, have you tried without.
Although i agree with zinglebarbs post try booting it out of the tower.

and yeah i have tried a diffrent psu i tried the one i am using now and also the one that came with my new case which is a 550w i'll try it all out the case but if that dont work then it deffo the mobo and thanks for all your help

that's good - the only thing that can go wrong is they fall off when introducing the motherboard. I found it helped to put matchsticks in the mounting pins, fit the washers over the matchsticks, introduce the motherboard & then take each matchstick out, in turn, as you fit each screw.
