I seem to remember reading that the only picture of them at the summit is of Norgay and it was a good 30 years before it was reveled Hillary was the first to the summit, Hillary was humble, like all good hero's should be.

Well if thats true, then fair play. But I was always taught that Hillary was the first man. Maybe my teachers of 40 years ago were mis-informed.

WHAT! But isnt that the attitude that got the british empire into the trouble its in? The empire came, the empire saw, the empire took, and then when they couln't be bothered any more with the hassle, the empire left. And left a mess behind a la Israel, India, Ireland, Iraq etc etc etc
