Re: Be Pro
£16 extra a month for a slight increase in upload speed... doesn't seem to worth it, but their £24 deal is really good, a lot better then VM who are ripping their customers off.

Re: Be Pro
If only they could actually deliver the speed they claim to all houses. Would rather pay virgins £35 for 9.5Mb than Be Pros £24 for 1Mb

They claim nothing. There speeds are up to. They dont claim to give anyone full speed.

Re: Be Pro
2 people on my street have Be, they can get 20Mbps - not sure what upload they get though.
Be are really good, but are overcharging Be Pro, because they are the only ISP in the country that are offering this upload speed and are abusing their power.

Re: Be Pro
the BE deal is very good indeed for people with a line that can handle it.
The reason why upload will be slow on VM is the headline figure is download speeds, isps know most people wont download more with 20mbit over 10mbit and remember upload contention is a killer on cable technology. 2mbit on a consumer cable product when they have people paying premiums for 2mbit leased lines? think about it.
