Re: GAME to end it's 10 day Return Policy
The only games I have taken back are the ones that are so locked down due to Anti Piracy it actually stops me playing the game, a couple of examples:
Farcry
If you connect to a server and you dont have the right map, mod or whatever then it locks your Key for 5-15 mins, so you cannot join another.
Battlefield 1942 + addons
Hard to find a server which has the right mod, map or whatever that matches your setup, even though I downloaded every single one I could find. I took this back tbh.
Price Matching
One I cannot understand, example Game has the same title for £34.99 and I pop around the cornor to Woolie;s and they have it for £27.99 - now they do indeed price match but why would I then go back to that first shop (game in this case) - might as well buy it as the second one for the price quoted...
Online vs In-Shop
I can understand price matching to a different retailer but why do Game (and many others do this as well) have it as one price online but a different price in the shop (higher) and they wont price match.
The cry's of "its cheaper online due to them not having a shop etc" but if its the same shop then they will have to pay out funds for that shop in the first place, so I dont quite get this tbh. Does this mean Shops as we know it will soon cease to exist? At least PC World allow you to select online and pick up in store at the price online...makes sense.
