My dog delightfully ate my remote control, it's the long black telewest one and i'm looking at ones for sale on e-bay can i only use the black one or will the silver one work??? i think my box is a 4000 well it says DI4000 on it. any help much appreciated!

phone up telewest and say your remote is broken....
when they ask what is wrong tell them the dog ate it and hope you get through to someone with a sense of humour

to the site , i think you will be stuck with the remote that you should have , i.e. the one specific to the box , nice colourful first post btw
