DVLA contact

Any one know how to contact them other than by phone, it takes for ever. They have my ntlworld account as my contact address. I can't get on to this and have moved. I've tried to inform them , they confirm they have my message saying they have replied to my ntl account.! Going around in circles

Sadly a lot of the allegedly faster (and more efficient) online and phone business you need to do now involves going in circles.
Whether that's a little blue circle happily spinning on a blank web page, or being passed from department to department on the phone . . . once you actually get to speak to a human.

As for DVLA, why not write to them at Swansea? Explain the email address they have is no longer relevant and (if you have moved house) your new address etc.

I'd also mention the problems you've had with their 'system' and suggest an overhaul and some better 'customer service' training

Thanks check this and it is showing, the correct address. Tried sending a message and guess what sent reply to the ntl one .ie we have sent a reply to your e mail ending in ntlworld , guess it's a fully charged phone and a large wild turkey

If you change it on the site, it becomes active immediately once you enter the security code sent to that new address, and that finalises the change - might be worth trying before the interminable phone call…

Change your email address

You can change your email address in your GOV.UK One Login. To do this:

Sign in to your GOV.UK One Login.
Go to Security.
Under ‘Sign in details’ select Manage your sign in details.
Go to ‘Email’ and select Change email address.
Enter your password and select Continue.
Enter a new email address and select Continue.
Check your email for a security code.
Enter the security code and select Continue.
