I'm sure when you connect to etherenet everything will be OK.

Rather than move the Fritz!Box to under the TV there is already a TP-Link LS1005G Gigabit 5-Port switch there so my plan is to use that, hopefully it'll be good enough.

All my wireless and ethernet equipment are connected to my FTTP and are behaving as expected, very happy with everything.

Re: FTTP who to buy it from - Recommendations please
I didn't think I would take advantage and notice a speed bump from 260Mbit to 900Mbit because I don't use a PC to download from anymore because mostly everything is streamed. However my PS5 Pro connects to the Playstation network at 900Mbit so I now realise how much of a convenience the higher speed will make and can never go back!

You mean they have been bought out by Youfibre.

Is brsk being taken over or going away?
No, this isn’t a takeover. Brsk and YouFibre are sister companies and this is a planned move to bring them together under one brand. The same people and teams are still here - we’re just operating under a single, unified name going forward.

Re: FTTP who to buy it from - Recommendations please
So I've had Zen FTTP Full Fibre 900 for a month now and it's been great and rock solid. I usually get pretty much my expected speed on Ethernet and after changing my DNS to use Cloudflare if I was to game online I can expect a latency of 8 at best and 21 at worse with both being very stable.
Even though I have zero packet loss on all the tests I've done my Thinkbroadband quality monitor looks a little iffy though showing a little packet loss but my connection doesn't appear to represent what the graph shows so I'm not worrying about that. On my VM connection if the graph showed packet loss I would experience it my end.
I see my package is £5 cheaper per month so that's a little annoying.

I did Thinkbroadband for years with both my VM and Zen connections. The Zen graph was usually very clean with not much happening whereas the VM chart was far "noisier" latency wise. Also it would regularly go red with 100% packet loss even though the connection was still working. I suspect the pings were being blocked but could only resolve it by either enabling/disabling flood protection or rebooting the router.
Has the price of the 900 meg service gone down? it was £50 last time I looked (openreach service).
