They normally call me the day after in the AM but no call today hahaha they have time still but my anxiety condition is triggered hence why I took on the BT package (that I can get out of) just to relax my anxiety

Retentions rang me about a week before the end of my notice period, by that time I had already signed up with another ISP

I have 5G from 3 and a mifi device I can connect to my own router. It’s not perfect but would do for a couple of weeks if Virgin don’t come through with an offer.

Re: Virgin sending new terms emails for some

HaHa Just had the call. As expected next day but a bit later than normal. Explained I know the score he said I have 2 offers for you.
Bare in mind I am on Volt

Offer 1 first offer 350 meg for £26 18 months obviously subject to Aprils increase likely £4ish so in real terms a £2 increase

He said offer 2 if you reject offer 1 ( I did not even say anything) was 500meg for £26 for 18 months with Aprils price increase so 150meg for an extra £2 a month snapped his hands off

Gonna have the BT install and just end the contract within 14 days of joining so I can test it and see for future reference and it gets me a BT line installed. It will only cost a tenner plus a little service

Many thanks, Jaymoss. Something in that ballpark would be nice.

Re: Virgin sending new terms emails for some

We have just negotiated a new 18 month contract with Virgin Media but without Netflix on it.

Do we have to sign up to Netflix again with the same details they still have or do we have to sign up as new subscribers again?

I imagine your log ins will still work and when your term ends it will just prompt you to set up a new payment method. Worth waiting and see if that happens first so if it does you get to keep all your settings

On top of the new terms, those on the top pack agreeing a new contract now get less but pay the same.

Re: Virgin sending new terms emails for some

Virgin Media Website is giving me the option of getting a free wifi pod and upgrading my Volt 500 to Gig1 for an extra £3.55 making it £29.55 till April and likely less than £34 after

Re: Virgin sending new terms emails for some

Yep, TNT sports no longer included in the TV package. Called today to negotiate end of contract I had Volt with three boxes. I ended up agreeing to an £8 increase from my old contract to get back TNT, increase to Gig1 and UHD for Sky Sport/Cinema and Netflix.
Just had an email from Netflix asking for a new payment method as the Virgin one has been cancelled. Why can't it just be straightforward.

Nothing's straightforward with this outfit these days, they have to make a meal out of everything.
