Re: superhub 2
^^ Say what, never mind
Well 24hrs on and my SH2 seems rock solid and a huge improvement over my 2+ year old SH1.
Pings are low jitter is barely existent speeds are almost maxing out during peak and off peak times.
Have yet to try modem mode simply because I wanted to test the 5Ghz wifi out xD

Never want to be a beta tester again. What's the point joining the trial if the customers not in the trail gets the super hub before the beta tester?
People in the trail should be the first people to see the super hub 2 for the customers not in the trail.

Unacceptable though that was (failure to deliver SH2), at least you have access to the trial forum where a lot of stuff gets discussed (in confidence).

If you thnk it's rock solid, my test firmware is even more solid! Strabge that I should say that - I felt it was solid on the firmware you had, but jitter was annoying in router mode. In modem mode, of course no problem.
Now, with current firmware that will be turned into a release soon (don't ask me when) - maybe one more test version to go - there is no jitter in router mode on my system.
So it gets better from very good, IMO. Nobody who knows me on these forums ever thought I'd have a good word to say about a Superhub!

Yes, the one in use flashes. If both in use they both flash

I have been a lurker on these forums for sometime and I have also seen some of your posts over on the vm community forums, always intuitive and straight to the point which is what people appreciate xD
Haven't used a superhub in router mode for nearly 2 years however at this present time I am tempted to leave this sh2 in router mode as I am not sure connection quality could improve by switching it to modem mode and reconnecting my samknows trial netgear router....
Maybe I will give it a try run in the near future but I don't want to risk breaking something that's not currently broken xD
My current version is
Boot Code Version PSPU-Boot 1.0.16.22
Software Version V1.01.19
Can't wait for the update if it makes it even better xD

Thanks for those nice words.
As I said, unless you hit one of the barely noticeable things that needed fixing in 1.01.19, you won't notuice the difference on later versions. But I'm not gonna mention them because I'm curious to see what the peops discover.
As for modem mode, I will go back to it after the trial period ends. But as the previous SH1 router mode enemy, I'm quite happy that I'm running the SH2 in router mode at this time.

Re: superhub 2
As per my previous post, the Engineer arrived changed over the SuperHub One to another SuperHub One and stated that VM are aware of the Wireless issues and that a new SuperHub is currently out and that i should provide VM with pressure to allow an exchange, which should solve the Wireless issues.
He watched us using a laptop, connect to the Hub (The Laptop was within another room and it was always dropping connection, but the Desktop computer in the house, which is directly connected to the modem/router did not have any such issues. He did mention that it could possibly be the Wireless card within the laptop, but he was not convinced that was the issue.
He seemed in quite a hurry to get onto other jobs.(Which i guess is understandable.)

Re: superhub 2
My door buzzer is supposed to be fixed next week after a snotty email, as soon as it's fixed I shall try the retentions route for a SH2 now the manned install is cancelled. Bit annoying really but hey ho.
