Re: superhub 2
My SH2 has been solid apart from 1 reboot for a firmware update, Wireless has better range although not as good as my current Cisco Linksys router so i'll be sticking with that. Same can't be said about the service as we've had 3 area faults in 10 days and all 3 times in the prime time evening slot with it not coming back on until midnight grrr

I was about to say that I didn't realise wireless-G could run on 5Ghz but I believe it's actually Wireless-a that does. That IS old.

Re: superhub 2
Virgin Media is set to launch a next-generation wireless broadband router.
The new Super Hub is currently being tested by a number of customers, ahead of a full launch in the coming weeks.
Virgin Media says the router boasts maximum speeds even faster than BT’s new Home Hub 4, thanks to an extra antenna on the 5GHz channel.
This improves both range and speed, the broadband provider stated.
"Powered by the latest dual band technology, [our] new Super Hub will enable concurrent access to both the 5GHz and 2.4GHz wireless channels," Virgin Media claimed.
The router will also deliver "unrivalled connectivity" throughout customers’ homes, it stated.
Last month, Virgin Media announced that it had added 25,500 new broadband subscribers during the first three months of 2013.
This took the firm's broadband customer base to 4,490,500.

Re: superhub 2
As much of an improvement the SH2 is over the SH, I do wish the marketing drones would desist in using phrases like "unrivalled connectivity" and "the latest dual band technology". I guess they just like provoking the ASA :p

Then why did thenry withdraw his post? On mine (and presumably his), the lights are higher up and there is no VM logo beneath the lights.
What's your's like?

I guess they can get around it because Wireless-N is still the "latest" technology, since ac isn't quite finished yet.

Are the lights less bright? Secondly does it support AFP ( apple file protocol )? Does it support HFS+?

Re: superhub 2
The final one might be different to the ones in testing. The original SHUB went through a couple of hardware revisions before it was released (Although the actual plastic shell never seemed to change).
