Down from 8 channels to 6
Last time I checked I had 8 downstream channels, now I'm down to 6?

Not sure why VM keep messing about......

I'm on exchange cpc1-asht6 - Ashton Under Lyne

Anyone else had the same experience?

More likely load balancing. Possibly resegmented and/or moved those channels/freq to different line card.

Could be that you have gone from QAM 64 to 256
