Down from 8 channels to 6
 

Last time I checked I had 8 downstream channels, now I'm down to 6?

Not sure why VM keep messing about......

I'm on exchange cpc1-asht6 - Ashton Under Lyne

Anyone else had the same experience?

maybe cost saving if the extra bandwidth wasnt required

More likely load balancing. Possibly resegmented and/or moved those channels/freq to different line card.

Could be that you have gone from QAM 64 to 256

No parts of the network run 64QAM any more

Not sure what network you're on then…… ? but clearly someone forgot to tell VM that! ;)
