3D will consume only a very small amount of most viewers time currently ,hopefully going forward we will see more good content.

Just because people buy 3D TVs does not mean they actually use 3D.

You can turn off 3D on 3D TVs.

You still need to buy the stupid glasses.

I will consider buying a glasses free 3D TV when it is a reasonable price , works properly and does not make the picture quailty on regular TV worse.

From the amount of 3D films and 3D re-releases of films planned and how well 3D TVs are selling and the fact that the BBC and others are broadcasting big events in 3D and even games consoles are embracing 3D, shows that it's not a gimmick or a fad. It's her to stay this time.

I don't watch a lot in 3D on my home tv but when shown to friends they have been very impressed at how well it works.

3D doesn't do anything to regular tv. Most 3D TVs have exceptional 2D picture quality.

The sets may take some time to reach customers, however, as the glasses-free screens tend to compromise regular TV and DVD pictures.

"I guess they won't go to market until they've solved that problem," says Vandervell.

Yes 3D is an added extra that will not be used all the time you watch tv, but sitting down to watch a certain show or movie in 3D is really fun.

Don't know why some people are fixated on. Wearing a pair of glasses, I have to wear glasses all day anyway so it doesn't bother me.

3D is doing just fine,the numbers are looking good and new 3D Blockbusters get anounced every day.
3D isn't going anywhere.

I have a question.
Are any of the glasses for the TV's been made for people who wear glasses anyway?
Myself and my partner both wear glasses and contact lenses and from what we have seen so far the only comfortable way to watch a 3D tv would be to put contact lenses in to then put glasses on again?

I wear glasses and the 3D glasses I got (Samsung SSG-3100GB) fit fine over my normal glasses but I wear smaller framed glasses.

Best way would be to go to a store and try them on
