Yes apparently HD=highly desireable.
About the only thing that is known to be coming for sure is sky sports Red Button anything else is unknown at present, although i do not doubt vm will be launching some channels this year just not yet .

I got confused, of course it has been removed as that's what happens lately when another new channel joins.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. I.
Disappointed that no mainstream channels have been added.
I'm not interested in additional channels that are not part of the XL pack..
Virgin do need to realise that it's no point having a Tivo box if we don't have a decent range of channels to record from
I love my Tivo, but would love some extra HD channels. Universal HD, Other ITV channels spring to mind. Though I suspect eventually we may get SkyArts HD or some other random channel that people won't really watch.

The way some people speak, you'd think VM only had about 10 channels!
I'll have no problem filling a good deal of my 1TB hard disc with the channels VM already have. That doesn't mean I don't want more channels, but to say there is no point to Tivo with the number of channels VM currently have, seems crazy to me.

soz mate totally disagree if you are getting movies and sports in HD you are already paying £7.00 extra for HD and if you get tivo there is another £3.00 charge making it £10.00 for a extra 25p you get over 50 HD channels,You could argue that you after pay another £9.00 for ESPN and its free with vm on xl.But lets face it this season if you are a premership fan you are only getting a quarter of the matches.VM finally admitted HD Channels was the future and that was only after constant badgering from customers and people leaving for sky,In there last quarter results the tv showed a massive increase. That was due to the excellent work that vm did in getting a large amount of HD Channels and even admitted that themselves and promised more,For the past nine months all we have seen is channels close and channels to be taken off just to be replaced by others.Constant promises and coming soons is now starting to wear thin and now with this great product (tivo) its needs support from new channels especially HD,If you read recent reviews it makes reference to how many less HD channels vm have compared to sky.
I am very lucky to have both due to the fact i got a great half price deal off sky and won a tivo in the draw,Personally i would rather give all my hard earned money to vm.But i love my tv and whilst vm now have a great promising product with tv,Got to admit from a tv addicts point of view sky beat them hands down.
No more coming soons vm,Listen to your customers we want more channels. All we seem to be getting is price increases at a time when money is tight and now with the cost of tivo people need justification to go out and part with more.
