Probably over-thinking it haha

Comments like this are only going to push staff away from the forum. we give our time free to help others.
We are not paid to post, hence our disclaimers in our sigs. I'd be a rich man if I got paid for all the help I've given on this forum.
Seems to count for nothing though. Seriously considering leaving this forum and I mean it.

Digital Fanatic - Don't leave the forum. Your opinions , as far as I am concerned, are welcome and valued. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, sometimes I think others forget this when they do not agree with a particular set of comments.

Agreed. We all know who are the staff members here. Why some people find it neccessary to jump to Sky's defence all the time even when they are shafting us and witholding exclusive content from us is what I find strange.

I am certainly not paid to promote the company line on this or any other forum.
I will post if you are posting about something illegal or against the Terms and Conditions that you signed up for, which in the main is unlikely to stop anyone.
We try to offer you good sound advice about the products Virginmedia supply but we cannot provide anyone on here with business sensitive information as we would probably lose our jobs and most of the information we provide can be found in the public domain.
On many occasions I have posted that if you want to get your TV services from SKY then go ahead as you can still get your broadband from Virginmedia which in the majority of enabled areas outclasses SKY's broadband offering.
We post on here as forum members that have been confirmed as being Virginmedia staff by the forum team, but we post in our own right as most of us have disclaimers in our signature.
So before posting any comments such as the one above please think about it first or even PM a member of the moderating team for advice before hand.

This forum and thread would be NOTHING without people like MEDIA BOY and DIGITAL FANATIC. They are the people who give us enormous help and inside information. We have already lost BIG RED because of idiots.
Certain people should back off and stop turning discussions into personal vendettas and arguments.
I would hope the MODS step in here and sort things out.
DIGITAL FANATIC has my support and i would MUCH rather he stayed and others went!

Hey DF what they could be saying that for is due to your avatar LOL they may think that you are getting paid for advertising subliminally. All I have to say is that all the staff who give up their own to post on her are appreciated by nearly all the forum members ( except a few ).

If they didn't 'deviate from the company line', then this thread would be aimless and everyone would be knowledge-less on most advancements of Virgin TV and more.
If DF goes then this forum will lose many members because the highlight of the forum is knowledge of things before everyone else, without that, its just a support and arguing forum.

But surely if you start slagging of the company in public on this or any other forum, the company won't be too happy about it?
Whether you have anything negative to say or not, surely any negatives are subject to some sort of gagging pressure? Which at times can lead to a one-sided debate (i.e. Sky vs VM), if you choose to get involved.
I think the key here is to remember that VM staff are VM staff - even if they do have something negative to say (and I'm not suggesting that they do), I wouldn't expect them to post it on here. Maybe this needs to be remembered in the wider context of a debate sometimes.

I appreciate all the help that staff have given on here.
You don't see many staff from companies, helping customers in their own time!
If I were of legal age, I would buy you all a drink on behalf of me!
Keep up the work

People are grateful for your input (myself included), but then sometimes people do want to have an open discussion, and maybe your hands are tied from having that (whether you would want to or not)

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. I.
WOW - Came on here just now noticing a few pages ahead of where I last was. I was hoping it was something new.
But yet again just constant moaning. I mean look back at the past 85 pages in this thread I bet you can pick out on one hand whats launched if anything.
And Digital Fanatic, You shouldnt go, Just ignore the moaners and move on!
