CLOCK on Samsung...

I wish that there was an option to turn it off... I have on ein a bedroom and it lights the whole room up!

There should be an option like (Disable clock in Standby) or something like that!!

Any chance of that??

Bizarrely I've noticed when the box puts itself into 'energy saving mode' whilst watching TV the drive doesn't spin up at all and is nice and quiet...

I do know that hence the smiley but thanks anyway, my box is never in standby just like the boxes in work, never seen any reason to put it in standby.
