Re: British Telecom & CPW shelve rollout of Phorm Webwise [update]

VM are running this way too close to the wire. A simple statement disassociating themselves with Phorm (and its like) is the recommended facesaver. It will get embarrassing if the EC has to remind them about the illegality of the system. VM stand to lose lots of customers if they deploy any kind of profiling whether it is opt-in or opt out.

How can I say this plainly? VM customers do not want it and will not put up with it. Not now. Not ever.

Now please VM, act quickly to put all this nonsense to bed once and for all. Thank you.

Just an update.

Re: British Telecom & CPW shelve rollout of Phorm Webwise [update]

Meant to post this this weekend.

EX-BT tech chief Stratis Scleparis, who joined Phorm after he oversaw the secret trials of the tech a couple of years back, has left Phorm. No word why..

Phorm loses loads of cash! Stratis loses his job!

Oh Dear! What a shame.

Re: British Telecom & CPW shelve rollout of Phorm Webwise [update]

I think that these last few posts are the most retrained comments on this subject, or any other contentious subject, I have ever read on this forum.

I don't doubt it. I came across the same link in another forum and was able to read the article without registering. I really don't know what to make of it.
