Windows 7 Amazing but No Windows Mail or Outlook?
Hi everyone,
Just intalled windows 7 and it's much better than Vista which was not hard but for some reason it does not come with built in mail software liek Outlook or Windows Mail, I have tried looking at different places to download it from but cannot find any and wondered if anyone on here can help.

I've never used it as I use Outlook 2003, but I think it works with all e-mail providers.

That's not fair as when I always purchased PC's or Laptops in past it always came with Outlook on them.

It either came with Outlook Express (not the same thing) which was free - and which Windows Live Mail replaces
Or if it did come with Outlook itself it would have been included within the price for the computer - so you were paying the PC Maker for it.

I don't think you can - in any event Windows Live Mail is the (free) replacement for Outlook Express & can be easily installed 'standalone'.
Outlook is a completely different application to Outlook Express & as Ben pointed out is not a 'free' option. The Outlook 2007 version can be purchased separately - previous versions, afaik, were part of Microsoft Office or Exchange.

Live mail easily 'links' to ntlworld.com accounts - you go into 'tools' 'accounts' 'add' & fill in the details for the email address & password.

When you add an email account, choose manually configure mail servers
