Laptop bag material ?
Hi,
I found a cheap laptop bag/case on eBuyer ( http://www.ebuyer.com/product/144866)
I was wondering if the material is ok being Polyester, as I think Polyester can hold static

Re: Laptop bag material ?
Unless you intend to dismantle the laptop and leave its bare components in the case I can't see a problem?

Re: Laptop bag material ?
no issue otherwise you would have quite a few people complaining that their laptops have fried in any style bag

Re: Laptop bag material ?
most bags these days are polyester/nylon combination. Though there are some nice neoprene sleeves out now

Re: Laptop bag material ?
Not to mention the components are protected from static naturally when they are assembled in their enclosure

Re: Laptop bag material ?
The chips are earthed within thier little circuit and also the metal shielding/case is a nice little faraday cage
