hello all
i have a slight problem
im with ntl an had a desktop hard wired and my laptop wireless all working.
i have move my desktop to another room an tred making it wireless using a belkin g dongle thing used the disc to install drivers/programe.
double click on the belkin thumb nail an it opens a screen showing available networks,
i have tried to connect to my network using the net id an all that but it wont connect an it runs really slow not showing full window.
is there an easier way to set it up please.
well i tried using the microsoft network wizard thing an i get to see available networks see mine double click on t and it pops up
"windows is unable to connect to the selectd network. the network may no longer b in range pleae refresh list an try connect again"
this is wierd as it shows full signal strength.
any one any ideas pleeeeasse
tried that too never mind il try get someone to sort it for me,
ive tried loads of diffrerent ways of getting it to work the nearest i get is
wireless neworks available then i click on my network and it tries to connect then it says not in range which it is.
but if i try to connect to anyone elses network it comes up asking for there network key.
grrrr
