messed up cft 2100 settings

I would love if someone can help. I was a little merry last night and somehow I have managed to mess up my cable box. I cannot find any channels now! Is there a way to reset? it seems to be stuck on channel 02 (but with no picture). Neither the box nor control responds unless I pull the power and after that they freeze after a time
Thank you to anyone that can help

If you have tried a reboot and that has failed then its a call to Virgin Media for an engineer visit.

What are F settings ?. The old CFT2100 i had before i went digital was not able to be adjusted by the end user. Your best bet is to get an engineer to have a look at it, then if its faulty it will be replaced

Thank you for your help. I am a bit desperate. But surely if i have done some silly thing I must be able to fix it myself. I would have to take time off work to let the engineer in

Much appreciated. Thank you honey

perhaps I can clarify. I pull the power then after I reconnect i can access the menu etc after. And on the remote I can put in F and then 1,2 ,3 etc each giving me a different readout on the box display. for example f then 5 flashes 83 on the display. The problem box is in my bedroom but is connected through my living room box which is working fine. I really need some help as I am now stuck with kids tv !

Re: messed up cft 2100 settings

If you have pulled the power and plugged it in again, you have rebooted the box. You need to report a fault.
