Stabbed Boy (9 Years old) Protected His Mother

That right a nine-year-old boy slashed in the face as he tried to protect his mother.

Quote:
When her young son jumped on the intruder's back to try to protect his mother, the offshore worker turned on him, slashing him on the face with the kitchen knife.

What a very courageous young man, and his family must be very pround of him.

Another shining example of how terrific most kids are...and I bet his mother is so proud of him.

I see the thug tried the pathetic I'd been drinking excuse but the judge ignored that... good for him.

Not a good excuse. IMO. If you know you suffer from bouts of anger and violence while drinking, then the answer is simple: Don't drink.

The boy, however, deserves respect, and, hopefully, some sort of bravery award.
