Question I have update 20Mb this morning from NTL [vergin]

hi i have update 2MB to 20MB this morning from NTL or Vergin but i have check speed every hour its still shows to me 2MB why is that? please let me know guys

what modem you got?
Log into it 192.168.100.1 root root then click operation config and it should say 20480000 as downstream. Have you rebooted the modem?

i have checked it says 20480000 and i reboot the modem as well. still in same 2MB zinglebarb.

20480000 is 20 meg config.

What modem and router do have? Have you tried connecting straight to the modem? Are you using ethernet or USB?

i have ntl 250, (Euro-DOCSIS 1.0/1.1/2.0 Compliant)
yes i have tried connecting straight to the modem
and i am using ethernet

When you reboot the modem do you allow it at least 30 seconds [off time] before rebooting? [It seems strange to me that your error logs are still showing info from several weeks ago]

Do you shut down your PC [and router, if applicable] whilst you reboot the modem? And then follow correct start up procedure?

yes i did everything like what you said. but something else is wrong
i think when i upgrade i made a mistake that i closed the browser before it finished upgrading.

Sorry, but that makes no sense at all, upgrades have nothing to do with your browser, it's done remotely and your modem receives the necessary configs from VM.

What [did you think] you were upgrading?

i know what was doing at that moment, but closed the browser unexpectatly.
