Because the numbers aren't actually that high when you consider just how many white Brits there are in the country.

Because you believe the media or you live in a area in which the ethnic minority is larger than the national average of 7.9%? Both of which give the false impression that the country is over run by immigrants?

when i move to greece for example, i'll speak greek, write greek, read greek.
it's only fair that people who live here should do the same with english.

i think that all 'communities' are fractured nowdays, whether black, white or whatever. it's a sad state of affairs but certainly not amplified by immigrants - i think we need to look at ourselves before we start to blame other cultures.

Because that's the way arithmetic works - 75% of the UK population being 'British' (or 'white' or however you're going to misrepresent it) would mean 15 million immigrants, which is rather a lot, and it's up to you to find two Londons-full, if you wish to back your outlandish claim. It might have been worth paying attention in English as well as maths class, incidentally.
