Forget it - bloody typical - you look for days - Nothing!
Then as soon as you post you find it - it was my NOD32 saying its lost my username and password to access the update server. I didnt actually pop up to tell me this though - just decided to keep it to itself...
If you're on XP Pro, you could enable file auditing and see what files are being accessed at the time of the error. Bit of a needle/haystack, but might yield something.
