Hi
I have been a Telewest customer for the last 3 years and recently we decided to upgrade from Surf Unlimited to Broadband. We decided on the DIY installation and the kit arrived late July. However,
1- being too busy to fix and install the Broadband service we continued using Surf Unlimited and
2 - not realising that despite not connecting up the Broadband service
that our Surf Unlimited product had expired as soon as the Broadband kit arrived at our doorstep - we were not told about the expiry of Surf Unlimited neither on the phone nor in writing.
As a result, we ended up with a month of continuous phone charges amounting to a bill of £1000+. The only reason I found this out was because my service was suddenly cut off last week and I wanted to get to the bottom of the issue.
The supervisor at Telewest argued that they had notified me about this in writing but I received no such notification. Would you have any advice as to how I can correct this mis-billing?
