*sigh* here we go again......

ok so web pages are loading as fast as a 3 legged elephant going up a steap hill, icq kicks me out every 2-3 mins.

changed to ethernet since the last time and peak times are just as bad.

is it worth ringing ts? what the hell is the point of paying nearly £40/month for this crap service?????

I can agree with this post; my service is behaving rather weirdly...

The overall speed is reportedly fine but some websites seem to be utterly terrible and just vanish. I checked on my ntl dialup account and all is fine.

Here's an example trace route:

Re: *sigh* here we go again......

I needed to download a 5.60MB file from my AV supplier this morning. I cancelled the first attempt when the dialogue box reported downloading at 1.94KB/sec and estimated time of 1hr. 43 mins. A check on RDHW speed test was perfect ( on 600kBB) I tried again later and it still took 30 mins to download.
