*sigh* here we go again......

ok so web pages are loading as fast as a 3 legged elephant going up a steap hill, icq kicks me out every 2-3 mins.

changed to ethernet since the last time and peak times are just as bad.

is it worth ringing ts? what the hell is the point of paying nearly £40/month for this crap service?????

I can agree with this post; my service is behaving rather weirdly...

The overall speed is reportedly fine but some websites seem to be utterly terrible and just vanish. I checked on my ntl dialup account and all is fine.

Here's an example trace route:

the 600+ pings on your traces even within the ntl network are just too much!

If your own ISP lets you down like that you are on a hiding to nothing!

Try www.f2s.com for adsl that rocks

My connection was acting wierd last night I couldn't download of a friends pc the speed on my 1mb was so slow we gave up. Not even 1kb and I uploaded a file to him a little later should have only taken a few mins yet it took 13min 12 secs..

Re: *sigh* here we go again......

I needed to download a 5.60MB file from my AV supplier this morning. I cancelled the first attempt when the dialogue box reported downloading at 1.94KB/sec:( and estimated time of 1hr. 43 mins. A check on RDHW speed test was perfect ( on 600kBB) I tried again later and it still took 30 mins to download.
