Can i do this?

Hi i have seen on the ntl website that if you sign up to Broadband you can get 3 months half price Broadband for new customers, however i am an exsisting customer can i ring up and cancel my broadband and re-sign on?

If so what will the turn around time be, thanks.

Yeah thats not to bad, would there be anyway of getting a discount without leaving and rejoining.

It seem quite common place to 'phone retentions, tell them you've found a few better deals (do some research for backup, there probably are better deals out there) and ask if there's anything they can do to keep your custom.

Ring retentions up and explain that you don't think it's right new customers are gettting it cheaper than you, you will have to make your mind up then
  • stay as you are paying what your paying
  • take retentions offer 'if they make one'
  • cancel and then rejoin about 6 weeks later 'heavy duty hassle with billing etc'
  • move to another ISP altogether.
It's a case of s**t or get off the pot as my wordsmith of a Grandad used to say
