Re: Getting modem config page
thanks for the answers guys
I have cleared everything in IE settings, as far as I know
Its the motorola surfboard modem I have.
I remember unchecking or checking a box in the modem config page, and it didnt display after this, I cannot remember what it was for tho, I was just frustrated with my connection.
Cables are fine, my connection has been broken for over 2 months now, but I still have my downstream, the upstream just wont lock on.. AARRRGH!

Re: Getting modem config page
do a hard reset of your modem, that should restore the modem configuration to default factory settings. Use a pin for this one.

Re: Getting modem config page
Is your Modem a USB connection. I had a problem recentlywith no Motorola Cable modem showing. The Tellywest Tech Guy was a Bxx waste of time. In the end I solved it by a simple thing in the bios. The USBs were disabled, lol. No suggestion at all from the Techie, that this could be the problem.

Re: Getting modem config page
Well its obviously something you changed in the BIOS or how would it have been working before so it wasn't the Engineer's fault at all so i cant see how you get off blaming them as they aren't really allowed to touch your PC anyway
