e-mail problems

Not the usual ones for ntl but a problem with settings (I think).
My wifes new laptop is connected to the internet via a pc card to the router.
She can receive e-mails but when she tries to send them, she gets an error message:

'An unknown error has occurred. Subject '', Account: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Server: 'smtp.ntlworld.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 Invalid recipient: <nathalie>', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC69'

I have checked her pop and smpt settings against those on my 'puter and they are the same. (she has a different addy to mine)
What am I doing wrong? Any ideas?

15 October 2003 18:48 ntlHome Internet Service - All packages - Email

Ntlhome Internet customers using the Ntlworld Mail service may be experiencing intermittent problems and slowness accessing the service, due to a technical fault.

Our engineers are aware of this issue and working on a resolution.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I agree, see this a lot at work when ppl don't copy the email address properly.
So now you can play a bit more with her 'settings'.
