Thumbs up Is it possible to connect the PS2 Network Adaper to a digital TV set-top box?

Firstly i apologize if i have entered this actual thread in the wrong forum but is this possible as i've read that it is possible to connect other External Network Devices to the PlayStation 2 Adapter thus would it be possible to connect my Virgin Cable V+HD Set-top box to the PS2 Network Adapter thus be able to play the PS2 online?.

I only know so much about the PlayStation 2 Network Adaptor & general online gaming on the PS2 but my actual household Cable Modem & Belkin Router are not situated in my room & because the PS2 is not Wi-Fi & i recieve my Broadband by wireless is there any options available to me
.

Re: Is it possible to connect the PS2 Network Adaper to a digital TV set-top box?

No as the set top box has no modem installed that will work, the ethernet port is disabled and if the USB port is also disabled and can only be used as a charging point as it does have power.

A Wireless bridge would do what you require, it would connect to your router/access point wirelessly, and provide a socket to plug your PS2's Ethernet into

You could try Homeplug networking. You'd need one of the "starter kits" that have 2 adapters.
