Is it possible to connect the PS2 Network Adaper to a digital TV set-top box?
 

Firstly i apologize if i have entered this actual thread in the wrong forum but is this possible as i've read that it is possible to connect other External Network Devices to the PlayStation 2 Adapter thus would it be possible to connect my Virgin Cable V+HD Set-top box to the PS2 Network Adapter thus be able to play the PS2 online?.

I only know so much about the PlayStation 2 Network Adaptor & general online gaming on the PS2 but my actual household Cable Modem & Belkin Router are not situated in my room & because the PS2 is not Wi-Fi & i recieve my Broadband by wireless is there any options available to me. :confused:

No as the set top box has no modem installed that will work, the ethernet port is disabled and if the USB port is also disabled and can only be used as a charging point as it does have power.

A Wireless bridge would do what you require, it would connect to your router/access point wirelessly, and provide a socket to plug your PS2's Ethernet into

You could try Homeplug networking. You'd need one of the "starter kits" that have 2 adapters.
