On Demand not working

My On Demand hasn't worked since I got TV Drive installed. It works on the TV Drive box, but not on the other two. It's been nearly 2 months now without On Demand services.

Spoken to CS on dozens of ocassions and no further forward. Does anyone know if there's a known problem at the moment?

Re: On Demand not working

I had my TV Drive installed yesterday and the installer said On demand won't be available on TV drive until 14th Febuary. Don't know how true it is.

The On-demand service should be available within the next month on TV Drive.

Enjoy

I had the same problem, had it installed and the vod on my samsung went on the blink, the error code I got was IS001 which essentially means it's been blocked/downgraded, felt like a bit of a prat phoning up faults because I work in that department, 24 hours later the guy from back office managed to sort it out back on again now...

Re: On Demand not working

I don't think my VOD has worked at all since I had a Samsung STB installed (the old PACE box finally died - I don't miss it much!!) a couple of weeks ago (haven't tried it until the last couple of days). When I press the On-Demand button, I get an M041 error, and when I clear this, I get an IS002 error.

I suppose I need to call Cust Services / Faults to sort this out? Any ideas?

Re: On Demand not working

Update on last night. I phoned faults this morning - got straight thru (good Brownie point there!). They said it was because my account didn't have VoD enabled and I needed to speak to Customer Services - they put me straight thru.

The extremely helpful lady at Cust Services (more Brownie points) said yes - the account didn't have VoD enabled, and she'd send stuff down the line - it would be working by tonight. Great. So far so good.

Back home tonight, thought I'd check out the VoD. Oh dear, no change, it's still not working, exactly the same as before. Well, I'll try to catch them again tomorrow, and see what the next instalment in the saga holds.

Re: On Demand not working

I haven't been on the forum for a while and I know I haven't read everything yet so please be patient with me but our On Demand hasn't worked for over a month now.

Whenever we try we get an NDE01 error and get asked to phone CS, which I did: "Ok Sir, someone will call you back within 48 hours". Hardly going to shock people but we didn't get a call.

A week later Mrs Gary phones and she gets told that it's a national problem and we would have to wait until it gets sorted. No prospective fix date as yet. I have a Samsung box with internet (4Mb) and haven't requested VoD or anything extra, it just stopped.

Just my experience.

mmmmmmmm. It's not sounding too good for me here then if that's anything to go by. I phone CS again this morning. Got thru quickly, but then spend quite a long time on hold. Then several visits for me to examine the STB (silver Samsung) in more detail to try to read the box's number (written in microscopic print below a barcode on the back). Think I eventually managed to read it, but only had my normal reading glasses which weren't really up to it! The issue's been sent to 2nd line support - so it sounds like it's going into limbo like your problem - doubt if I'll be in when they want to phone me, if that ever happens. Suppose I'll keep ringing on a daily basis until we get somewhere.

Re: On Demand not working

Hi GaryS, I got the same error as you NDE01 when trying to get to VOD. It's been happening for a few days now. When I called yesterday I was told they'd escalate to their Level 2 support, who would call me within 4 days, but I'm not holding my breath either.

I wouldnt bother waiting 4 days, I'd get right onto retentions and get them to welly some backside.

Re: On Demand not working

the only thing that stops me complaining about the poor vod service is the fact that its a free service i didnt ask for it and i dont pay for it so contacting retentions to complain seems a bit daft!!
