Samsung Engineers menu

Does anybody know what Cmd callback is on the event log as mine keeps trying but failing and wondered if this would have anything to do with the VOD problems im having. Also noticed that the PVR epg is the full stream list also BBC HD so cant hopefully be that far off

Re: Samsung Engineers menu

So you've been given a Samsung to replace the Pace STB you had? You shouldn't be needing to do anything in the engineers menu. That's for engineers, not customers

You still have a problem. Phone faults again and tell them to send another engineer to run some proper diagnostics on the cable signals into your property.

Re: Samsung Engineers menu

No I still have not had my Pace swapped out for a Samsung, this is at wifes parents i have been playing with I know strictly speaking i shouldnt be in the menu but with the problems they were having wanted to check signal levels and also alter the default volume which was on 10. So exactly what does CAK callback mean ? Only thing I could think was it was the box sending back info on programmes watched and ppv purchases like i say lots of attempts and failures with a couple of sucess.

Re: Samsung Engineers menu

Well been out this evening and my Pace box at home has finally stopped working altogether channels change but no picture and no VOD, in the network menu log it has lots of failure to get PIDS whatever that means and also a log at 223o pids blocked.
So looks like will be onto faults again in morning and hopefully will get this sorted friend in same village as me is also having same problems on his Pace box in bedroom but not on Samsung ?
