Nope. Outlook works with the pop connection.
Are you accessing the main account email address?
ie:
youraccountname@ntlworld.com?
If so then there's no reason why the password shouldn't work (well, none that I know of anyway).
Just remember that when you put the details into Outlook you only put in the bit
before the @ in the username box. So, in the example above, you would put yourusername into the account name box, not
yourusername@ntlworld.com.
