Saitek Cyborg EVO (£29.99 )

I've got a set of these, well worth the extra £35 extra on your budget

You might also be able to find these if you hunt around (ebay)

Whatever you do, avoid force feedback sticks, there's not a single one on the market that's worth using, it's an unnecessary gimmick.

Re: Joystick recommendations
I use a El Cheapo ST50 Joystick, is the one you personally own Bifta, a seperate one for rudder control and one for the other controls? if so how complex is it to use in other games, say 3rd party flight simulators/space simulators?

Re: Joystick recommendations
Or for a bit more, you could get a proper-styled flight yoke like a real pilot. Depends on how much realism you want.

Re: Joystick recommendations
I can't speak highly enough of Saitek, the pad I own has lasted nearly 6 years of abuse and not one fault with it!

Re: Joystick recommendations
Well my "Cyborg Evo Wireless PC Flight Stick" turned up and looks the biz, esp the wireless usb key that slots in the base of the stick handy!
However ...I don't seem to be able to calibrate the thing! and when I try to take off, i.e. pull back, nowt happens.... it's just not registering that I'm yanking back my stick (now now!..I'm still talking about my game joystick! )
Anyway, anyone know how I can calibrate it? I've been into the Game Controllers in the CP but it doesn't allow me to calibrate it...and the button in FS2004 only links to the Game Controllers option in the CP...
Any ideas?

Re: Joystick recommendations
I have a issue with my ST50, where it pulls to the left all time just a little about enough to bank the plane to 10degrees.
Yet on calibration it looks perfect.
Any Ideas?
