How long befre someone gets killed

This has also been happening in our local are, throeing stones and large objects at vehicles appeals as fun to them.

Or was the caging to stop the hooligans from falling off and hurting themselves  ?

Unfortunately it's nothing new. Twice I've been on a bus when a brick was chucked at it. The first time I was lucky it hit inches above the window, the window just in front of my seat  though the earlier bus wasn't so lucky, it's window was smashed. The second, in January, a window on the upper deck was smashed.

when i was at school we had been on a trip and were coming back through Blackheath (SE London) and some little kids (about 8 or 9 years old) fired a stone at the window with a catapult... shattered it completely!
Quite a good job it was good quality glass because it stayed in place... otherwise there would have been glass everywhere and probably quite a few injured children
It was quite amusing seeing the bus driver chase after them though  never seen a sixty year old run so fast

This sort of thing has been happening in Belfast as well. A couple of years ago a woman in her twenties was killed when someone droped half a concrete block onto the Westlink. Unfortunately she just happened to catch the 15lbs+ of concrete in the chest at 50 mph. Dont think anyone ever got knicked for it either.

This sort of thing seems all too common now, why on earth do people do it? 
At least the police caught the scrote responsible for this one.

Personally I'd have thrown him under a lorry on the M3 as his rehabilitation.
