Norton Liveupdate help needed
Can someone give me help in setting up Norton liveupdate.
I currently connect via NTL set top box/LAN/NAT router.My operating system is Win. XP Pro, previously I had Win 98, and I managed to configure Liveupdate to automatically get updates and DAT files.
However with my current config, no joy!
Any tips greatly appreciated

I thought it was an option in the settings bit, off by default.

If you running your connection and its is working ok for browsing I would of thought this could be a possible router problem (port forwarding?)
Are you able to update manually ?

Live Update --> Configure
Check all the tabs (FTP etc) and make sure they all have 'use my Internet options' set and not the customised one.
I run Live Update thru a router with no probs.

I use Interactive Mode, but I can't see that that should make a difference.
Can you FTP to/from another site successfully?

Sorry, I can't think of anything better than uninstall NU and reinstall it again.
