Document contains no data

Hi

I'm getting an intermittent problem on broadband in the Glasgow area (G66). When I click on a link I get an error message saying: The document contains no data. Next time I try to click through and I get access OK.

Any ideas?

Re: Document contains no data

it is usually caused by adblocking software. To fix...

type about:config in the address bar
then find "browser.xul.error_pages.enabled" and set the value to true....

problem solved

Re: Document contains no data

Thanks guys

You're right, I am using Firefox.

I've used the about:config instruction to change that value and I'll see how it goes from here.

I'll also check on the proxy

Thanks again

Re: Document contains no data

Ooops, got cocky there... how do I go about setting the new proxy?

Under Firefox it's set at the moment to Direct Internet Connection in the Options>General tab
