Document contains no data
Hi
I'm getting an intermittent problem on broadband in the Glasgow area (G66). When I click on a link I get an error message saying: The document contains no data. Next time I try to click through and I get access OK. Any ideas? Ken Glasgow |
Re: Document contains no data
could be the proxy your going through is having issues.
try using one of these listed here proxy because you are in glasgow.....one of the RENFREW proxys should be used |
Re: Document contains no data
have you tried ctrl f5 and see if that clears it :) , as for the proxies , i would just find one that works , and keep checking back regular to make sure you dont need it anymore :)

Re: Document contains no data
it is usually caused by adblocking software. To fix...
type about:config in the address bar then find "browser.xul.error_pages.enabled" and set the value to true.... problem solved :) |
Re: Document contains no data
Thanks guys
You're right, I am using Firefox. I've used the about:config instruction to change that value and I'll see how it goes from here. I'll also check on the proxy Thanks again Ken |
Re: Document contains no data
Ooops, got cocky there... how do I go about setting the new proxy?
Under Firefox it's set at the moment to Direct Internet Connection in the Options>General tab Ken |
