Help
NTL have stood me up twice now. Was sopsed to get cable installed last Saturday, but no-one turned up. Phoned CS about 7 times and i was promised that they were on their way each time. Phoned on the monday and rescheduled for the following Friday afternoon and took the afternoon off work. Guess what - same thing. After phoning them another 3 times, it turnes out I am not in a cable area. Why did somone not phone me and let me know? God knows.
Anyway - before i start ranting and raving, am I able to clame any compensation for my wasted Saturday, my lost 1/2 day holiday from work and the phone calles i made to CS from my mobile (not free from mobile)?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would say you are absolutely entitled to compensation for any losses you have incurred due to ntl not turning up.
What area are you in? I will get you a number of someone that will deal with this for you.

I would have taken the lack of response to mean that NTL had finally turned up for the install.
As the saying goes "no news is good news."
