Question Upgraded to TiVo - Is contract only for TiVo or whole package?

I already have VIP 50, so I just want to know if by upgrading to TiVo I have only signed a new contract for the hire of the box and not the rest of the package? I just got a letter from Virgin suggesting this is the case along with 28 days to cancel?

Should just be the TV, unless you changed the whole package.

All depends on what deal was placed on the account. If it was just a straight swap to a TiVo then the contract will be on the TV, best call to clarify it all.

Also, you get 7 working days right to cancel and not 28 as you're not a new customer.

you actually get 28 days to cancel as TiVo is classed as a new service and as such you are covered under the 28 day returns policy (there a few threads on here stating as such)

"Money Back Guarantee: Media: Available to new customers and existing customers taking a new service."

A service would be adding TV, Broadband or Phone as a brand new addition. TiVo is an upgrade if you already have TV. Such as taking out wireless, getting more channels etc is an upgrade.

What part of the title "Introducing our new TiVo service" don't you get?,anyway,as someone who returned their TiVo box after 12 days and got a full refund I can speak from experience, unlike yourself who are only giving your opinion of the policy,if you dont believe me I suggest instead of wasting your time replying to this post you actually call Virgin Media and get their view, who knows you may be suprised and be wrong for once
