Google Streetview delay
Anyone know how long it takes from the streetview car taking a picture to getting it online?
Reason I ask, is I was passed by one while in a traffic queue the other day - want to see if I will be on streetview

They'll probably wait until they've done the whole area before it goes live

Looking at one of the old streetview threads Russ said he got passed in July and that picture only went live in March the following year

That delay was because of the initial launch in the UK and they waited until they had about a dozen towns/cities covered.. You might not have to wait that long.. but I still think it'll be at least a couple of months

That was only because of with Street View went live so it could be any time really.

I also bumped into the streetview car half a mile from my home today - so I guess my castle (Minas Tirith) will be on there in a few months
