Over on another board I noticed a thread about someone claiming Ntl had taken back his Samsung and replaced it with a pace because of the picture bug.
The general consensus over there was that it was a 'dodgy' engineer wanting the Samsung for his own purposes but I wondered if anyone else had received a call or visit from Ntl if they have the Samsung for TV only?

Re: Samsung Recall?
It is the only way to completely cure the screen shift bug to change the samsung box for a pace. if the customer finds it unacceptable to wait for the fix it's the only thing they can do. I am sure engineers are not hiding boxes in some evil plot to rule the world!
I have the samsung and the screen seams to be shifted to the left resulting in losing text etc.Is there a way to get rid of it by rebooting, any date for the fix?

There's a picture shift/squashing problem this morning which is affecting all STB models. Nothing to do with the infamous Samsung bug. It's under investigation...
