Samsung Recall?

Over on another board I noticed a thread about someone claiming Ntl had taken back his Samsung and replaced it with a pace because of the picture bug.

The general consensus over there was that it was a 'dodgy' engineer wanting the Samsung for his own purposes but I wondered if anyone else had received a call or visit from Ntl if they have the Samsung for TV only?

It is the only way to completely cure the screen shift bug to change the samsung box for a pace. if the customer finds it unacceptable to wait for the fix it's the only thing they can do. I am sure engineers are not hiding boxes in some evil plot to rule the world! ;)

There's a picture shift/squashing problem this morning which is affecting all STB models. Nothing to do with the infamous Samsung bug. It's under investigation...

wonder if its the boxes or the enhanced software that causes the bug.
The software is NTL produced in house
